Hello I’m Dori and I’m Very Bad At Writing. Now, I do not mean this as a criticism of the QUALITY of my writing but rather I am bad at the Act of putting words on paper. But I am always Thinking About It. So please, talk to me about my writing. I will love you forever.
Here is my AO3, and below the cut is a list of stuff that I’m currently working on. (Spoiler alert all my current stuff is Doctor Who.)
Hi all, I was going to share my Doctor Who comics, but I got a bit carried away so enjoy! I’m only sharing links to my own files, websites, and files I have permission to share, so this will certainly have gaps. Feel free to contact me for any recommendations, suggestions, requests, or anything you’d like to add ❤️
All the audio dramas here comes from Big Finish on Spotify, but I highly suggest supporting Big Finish directly when you can, as they are a smaller company that relies more heavily on audience contributions. There’s also more free stuff on their website that isn’t included below.
You spend your whole life helping people and they’re STILL not nice to you? Always covered in bandages; this mummy can’t take it anymore. She trades in a healer for a coffin that’ll make you think twice before writing insults on her again.
If you confess to your crush with an Applin you’ll have a happy future together. Of course the Chef of Love would have an applin as a partner! But was is cooking without love? Pure Gluttony?
Junko - “If you bring strong emotions near this pkmn, it will silence you violently”. The Mastermind should have the pkmn who’ll kill you for feeling anything that’s not despair.
Toko - I like the idea that Wimpod uses it’s ability to switch out with Genocider Jack aka Scizor when it’s in a pinch. Also Toko’s best friend is a stink bug so it makes sense.
Byakuya - “Difficult because of its fickle meanness” Am I talking about the man or the cat?
people who think kids are stupid have clearly never once had to attempt to get through explaining a set of safety rules and expectations to a group of them. lawyers wish they had the falcon’s eye for loopholes, technicalities, and potential exceptions that the average 3rd grader possesses.
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia ( also known as Demon Castle Dracula: The Stolen Seal / Akumajō Dracula: Ubawareta Kokuin ) is the third Castlevania title released for the Nintendo DS handheld platform.
Although developed by the same team that created Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, this entry in the series has dropped the anime inspired artwork of its two predecessors in favor of a more traditional Gothic style, with character design by newcomer Masaki Hirooka. It is notably the first traditional game to feature a female in the lead role, named Shanoa. Additionally, this is also the first canonical game in the series where the Vampire Killer does not appear in any form.
This game was released on October 21, 2008 in the US and on October 23, 2008 in Japan.
I know a lot has been said about this scene and about how strong Dhawan!Master’s death wish is, but I found it especially heartbreaking after thinking about Missy’s last interaction with the Doctor.
Remember how Missy said all she had ever wanted was to stand side by side with the Doctor? Well, this is Dhawan!Master still wanting that exact same thing, probably with more intensity than ever before.
He’s just so broken, so done with everything. Ever since the Academy all he had wanted was for the Doctor to be by his side, to be his equal. But the Doctor has always acted as some superior being, both morally and intelectually, and has always tried to bring the Master to her side. The Master refuses to follow the Doctor because that would confirm her as the superior being she had always thought she was, because it would be like admitting she had been right all along. Still, he truly wants to be by her side, only that he wants her to step down to his level. He wants to stand by her under his own conditions, not hers.
And just as the Doctor always tries to reform the Master every time he comes back to her life, he keeps coming back and plotting all those evil schemes for the same reason. Because he wants to turn her into him. Because they’re two sides of the same coin, always had been.
But now he’s discovered that she really is a superior being, that they have never been the same. More than that, that he owes everything he is to her. And it breaks both of his hearts because they had never been the same, not even close. Everything he had believed during his whole existence is wrong, and all he has left is to destroy the civilization that had lied to him and then perish with them. But there’s still one thing that could make him and the Doctor be equals, and that thing is death.
He wants her to be the one taking the step, though. It has to be her the one that chooses to lower her moral values and die by his side. He hopes that after showing her all the things she had been kept from, she’s going to pull the trigger without a second thought, that they’re finally going to stand together, at least in the end. But when she refuses to do it, you can see the Master’s last hope banish from his eyes.
All he’s ever wanted, all he’s ever believed in is ripped from him in that moment.
That’s why I think that what he was going to say was:
“For just a moment there, I thought maybe… You’d stand with me.”
can you believe that dhawan!master admitted to the doctor’s face that all the evil shit he’s doing is just to get her attention. like yeah we all knew that but jesus christ i’m still not over it
